Meaningful Membership

To belong to a parish is much more than reporting where I attend Mass. To belong is to invest, commit, and participate in the place's mission. The mission of this parish, as it is in every Catholic Parish, is the Salvation of Souls. So let’s go for it! I am looking for more people to help in very specific ways.

Finance Council

We have two vacancies, which I hope to fill with two new members with connections to the School.

School Board

To revamp the school board, not replace it, Ms. Dolan has asked that I find new members to commit to serving the school. We need parents and parishioners who do not currently have students.

Ushers

I am starting a new usher committee to aid in our liturgies. I need one volunteer to coordinate the users at each of the three Masses and enough volunteers to create a rotating schedule of an additional five for each Mass.

Altar Guild

Lee Anne Cox heads up a group of women who clean and maintain the Church each Monday, and she is looking for more volunteers to help.

Pastoral Council

I would like the Pastoral Council to help with the parish's Pastoral Care in more ways. I am looking for new members to bring fresh ideas for discussion over the Summer months.

Choir

Juan Jose and I have been working hard to build up the choir. Our current members have been working hard to advance the liturgy and have done a fantastic job, especially for the Sacred Triduum; we need more members. Please consider joining the choir.

Knights of Columbus

Our knights are a group of men who do much of the volunteer work around our parish and keep many of the events that we have going. They are more than a group of men with monthly meetings, they are a good segment of the backbone of Saint Pius X. I hope that every man in the parish, particularly the dads in our school, would consider joining and bringing their ideas and talents with them.

Sacramental Preparation and Parish Ministries

Paramount to the mission of the Parish is formation and education in the Faith. We need people to volunteer to help with OCIA, Youth Group, Sacramental preparation and planning, and coming up with new ideas.

Event Volunteers

We have many new events happening around the parish and need more help with planning, set up, and clean up after.
